Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter the “Terms”) are intended to define the terms and conditions of use of the website accessible at https://hostnlib.com/ (hereinafter the “Site”), published by the company FINADORY, as well as the respective rights and obligations of users and FINADORY in this context.
Hostnlib is an online media platform dedicated to concierge services and short-term rentals. It offers editorial content (articles, guides, advice), practical tools and resources, a directory of professionals specializing in rental management and related services, as well as a service connecting Site users with listed professionals. The Site distinguishes between two categories of users: Visitors, who freely and at no cost access the public content and features, and Professionals, who have access to a Pro Area allowing them to manage their directory listing under the conditions described in Article 7.
These Terms are accessible at any time via a link located at the bottom of every page of the Site.
2. Site Publisher
The Hostnlib Site is published by the company FINADORY, a single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 912 552 627, with its registered office located at 110 rue Réaumur, 75002 Paris, France (intra-community VAT number: FR24912552627).

3. Access to the Site
Access to the Site’s editorial content, calculators, and directory is freely open to anyone, without prior registration. Creating an account is only required for Professionals wishing to access the Pro Area described in Article 7.
Use of the Site by a minor takes place under the responsibility of their legal guardian.
4. Acceptance of the Terms
Simply browsing the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms by the Visitor. For Professionals, creating an account on the Pro Area is subject to express acceptance of these Terms, evidenced by a checkbox at the time of registration. A Professional who does not accept the Terms is prohibited from creating an account or using the Pro Area.
5. Editorial Content and Calculators
5.1 – Nature of the content
The articles, guides, and advice published on Hostnlib are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute personalized advice or a contractual recommendation, and cannot substitute for the opinion of a qualified professional for any decision binding the user.
5.2 – Use of artificial intelligence
FINADORY informs users that all or part of the text content published on the Site may be generated or assisted by an artificial intelligence system, and undergoes periodic editorial review by FINADORY, without systematic human review prior to each publication. Any report of an error or inaccuracy may be sent to hello@finadory.com; FINADORY undertakes to review it and to correct or remove the content concerned if necessary.
5.3 – Sponsored content
Certain content published on the Site may be subject to a commercial partnership or compensation from a third party. Any such content is clearly and legibly identified as such, in accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code relating to unfair commercial practices.
5.4 – Calculators
The calculators made available on the Site are based on information provided by the user and on calculation assumptions intended for indicative purposes only. The results displayed do not engage FINADORY’s liability and do not constitute a firm offer, a quote, or a commitment on the part of any third-party professional.
6. Directory and Matchmaking
The Site allows Visitors to browse a directory of professionals listed in the short-term rental sector and related rental and hospitality management services, and to contact them via the forms provided. FINADORY acts as a technical intermediary facilitating this connection and is not involved in any capacity in the contractual relationship that may arise between a Visitor and a listed Professional.
The information displayed in professional listings (contact details, services, coverage area) is provided by the Professionals themselves or collected from third-party sources; it is presented for informational purposes. FINADORY strives to ensure its accuracy but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or delayed updates, and cannot be held liable for the consequences of inaccurate or outdated information.
7. Pro Area
7.1 – Account creation
Access to the Pro Area and to professional listing management features requires creating an account. The Professional must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information, and warrants that they have the authority to bind the entity they represent.
7.2 – Account access
The username and password associated with the Pro Area are strictly personal and confidential. The Professional is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for any action taken from their account.
7.3 – Services offered
From their Pro Area, the Professional may notably:
- create and update their directory listing;
- access enhanced visibility or featured placement options, which may be paid;
- view connection requests received via the Site.
8. Financial Terms
8.1 – Pricing
Access to the Site’s content and directory is free for Visitors. Certain Pro Area features, in particular enhanced visibility or featured placement options, are paid. Applicable rates are displayed on the Site, in euros, exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on the notice in effect at the time of subscription.
Payment for paid services is made upon activation of the offer chosen by the Professional. Promotional offers or temporary discounts may be proposed by FINADORY, under conditions specified, where applicable, at the time of subscription.
8.2 – Price revisions
FINADORY reserves the right to modify its rates at any time. Any price change applicable to an ongoing subscription will be notified to the Professional concerned with a minimum notice period of thirty (30) days before it takes effect, by email to the address provided at registration. A Professional who does not accept the price change may cancel their subscription under the conditions set out in Article 13, before the change takes effect.
8.3 – Payment incidents
Any late payment may, following an unsuccessful formal notice, result in the suspension of the Pro Area and associated paid features. In accordance with Articles L. 441-10 and D. 441-5 of the French Commercial Code, any late payment between professionals automatically gives rise, without prior notice being required, to late payment penalties calculated on the basis of the applicable statutory interest rate, as well as a fixed indemnity for collection costs of 40 euros, without prejudice to additional compensation upon proof if the costs incurred exceed this amount.
8.4 – Payment services operated by Stripe
Payments made on the Site are processed by the payment service provider Stripe, a company incorporated under Irish law with its registered office at 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland.
The Professional acknowledges that their payment data is processed directly by Stripe, in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. FINADORY does not retain any banking data related to transactions. By using the Site’s paid services, the Professional accepts Stripe’s terms and conditions, available at https://stripe.com/legal.
9. Evidence
Data collected and retained by FINADORY in its computer systems, under reasonable security conditions, is considered valid evidence of exchanges, access, and transactions occurring between the parties, absent manifest error.
10. User Obligations
Every Site user, whether Visitor or Professional, agrees to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information;
- use the Site and its features in accordance with their intended purpose;
- comply with applicable law and the rights of third parties;
- for Professionals, ensure the lawfulness of all content published on their listing (descriptions, images, logos) and hold the necessary authorizations for its publication.
11. Professional Guarantee
Every listed Professional indemnifies FINADORY against any action, complaint, or claim by third parties relating to content they publish on their professional listing or to exchanges they have with Visitors connected through the Site.
12. Prohibited Conduct
The following are notably prohibited on the Site:
- distributing unlawful, violent, defamatory content, or content infringing on the rights of third parties;
- spam, unauthorized automated extraction of Site data (scraping), or any misuse of the directory;
- identity theft or any misrepresentation, particularly within a professional listing;
- any attempt to compromise the Site’s computer systems.
13. Sanctions and Termination
In the event a Professional fails to comply with these Terms, FINADORY may, depending on the severity of the breach and following an unsuccessful formal notice where the nature of the breach permits:
- suspend or terminate the Pro Area concerned;
- remove all or part of the content in question;
- where applicable, notify the competent authorities and pursue any appropriate legal action.
The Professional may cancel their subscription at any time by email to hello@finadory.com, without prejudice to amounts already owed for the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, unless otherwise specified at the time of subscription.
14. FINADORY’s Liability
Hostnlib acts as a technical intermediary within the meaning of the French law on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN). FINADORY’s liability cannot be engaged for content published by listed Professionals, nor for disputes that may arise between a Visitor and a Professional connected through the Site.
FINADORY implements reasonable means to ensure the Site’s accessibility and proper functioning, but cannot guarantee the total absence of interruptions, errors, or update delays.
15. Intellectual Property
All elements comprising the Site (text, structure, visual identity, logos, illustrations, source code) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of FINADORY or its partners. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, or reuse of these elements is strictly prohibited and may constitute infringement within the meaning of Articles L. 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
16. Personal Data
The terms governing the processing of personal data collected on the Site, notably via the connection forms and the Pro Area, are detailed in the Privacy Policy available on the Site, in application of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and amended Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978.
17. Advertising
FINADORY reserves the right to display advertisements or promotional messages on the Site, distinct from the sponsored editorial content referred to in Article 5.3.
18. Third-Party Sites
The Site may contain hyperlinks to third-party sites. FINADORY exercises no control over these sites and disclaims all liability for their content as well as for any relationships that may arise between a user and these third parties.
19. Term
These Terms apply for the entire duration of use of the Site. Pro Area subscriptions are taken out for the term specified at the time of subscription and may be canceled under the conditions of Article 13.
20. Amendment of the Terms
FINADORY reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, in particular to adapt them to changes in the Site or in applicable regulations. Professionals with an account will be informed of any substantial change by email, with reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Site after such an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal action. Failing an amicable agreement, and subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, the competent courts shall be those with jurisdiction over FINADORY’s registered office.
