AI Usage Charter

Our Position

Hostnlib is an online media outlet and platform dedicated to short-term rentals and rental property management. To produce content that is accessible, up to date, and useful to our readers, we have chosen to use artificial intelligence as a central tool in our editorial production. This choice is deliberate and documented.

The purpose of this charter is to explain concretely how AI is involved in our content, what it does not do, and how we ensure the reliability of what we publish.

What AI Does at Hostnlib

Artificial intelligence is involved in the following stages of our production process:

• writing articles, guides, and advice pieces, based on sources and editorial briefs defined by our team;
• structuring and formatting content (outlines, titles, summaries);
• suggesting wording suited to our readers, whether they are property owners, rental managers, or hospitality professionals;
• helping identify relevant topics and associated keywords;
• processing and summarizing industry and regulatory data relating to short-term rentals and rental management;
• creating and editing visuals illustrating our content (illustrations, infographics, header images);
• assisting with the Site’s technical development, in particular for writing and correcting code.

What AI Does Not Do

AI does not replace Hostnlib’s editorial judgment on the topics covered. It does not produce commercial positioning disguised as editorial content, does not generate the figures we cite (which come from identified sources), and is not involved in the relationship between our readers and the service providers listed in our directory (concierge services, rental managers, cleaning companies, software publishers).

Editorial Supervision and Review

AI-generated content undergoes editorial review by the Hostnlib team before publication. This review focuses in particular on the factual consistency of the information presented, its alignment with the sources used, and its relevance to our readers. Given the volume of content published, this review is conducted selectively rather than systematically on every article. We do not claim to conduct an exhaustive review of every publication: this is a reality we acknowledge and offset through a reporting process open to everyone (see below).

Sponsored Content

Some content published on Hostnlib is subject to a commercial partnership with an advertiser or a listed service provider. This content is systematically identified with the notice “Sponsored article” or “Partner content,” displayed prominently. Whether or not content is sponsored, the same rules apply regarding the use of AI in its production.

Transparency on Sources

When an article relies on figures, studies, or specific regulatory sources, these are cited within the body of the text or as references. AI does not generate data: it formats data drawn from sources that we identify.

AI-Generated Visuals

The illustrations, header images, and infographics published on Hostnlib may be generated or edited using AI tools. These visuals are produced in compliance with the terms of use of the tools employed and do not deliberately reproduce protected works or styles. When a visual is entirely AI-generated, it is not intended to faithfully depict a real physical scene or an existing person.

Reporting Errors

Despite the care taken with our content, information may prove to be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Any reader who identifies an error is invited to report it to us at hello@finadory.com, specifying the article concerned and the nature of the inaccuracy. We undertake to review each report and to correct or remove the content concerned if necessary, as promptly as possible.

Evolution of This Charter

The use of artificial intelligence in editorial production is evolving rapidly, as is the regulatory framework governing it, particularly the European AI Act, certain provisions of which take effect starting in August 2026. We undertake to update this charter to reflect changes in our practices and obligations.
